Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and discovered her love of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished in second place in the 200 meter event at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. Felix became the world's youngest athlete to win the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium in her various races at the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
